Commercial Cleaning in Des Moines
Where we started, and still our biggest city.
Nationwide Office Care was founded in Des Moines in 2001.
What we clean in Des Moines
Des Moines is the state capital and the insurance and financial center of the region, and its building stock shows it: downtown office towers connected by the skywalk system, state and county government buildings, corporate headquarters, hospitals and their clinic networks, the arena and convention district on the east side of downtown, and the airport.
The work that defines Des Moines for us is the range. Same city, three kinds of cleaning, three trained crews.

How service works here
Des Moines is the center of our Metro region, and the Metro crews are the largest group in the company: cleaners, crew leads and supervisors who live in the metro and work it every night. Our headquarters at 9235 Swanson Blvd in Clive is about fifteen minutes from downtown, so a supervisor inspection, a supply drop or a same-day service request is a short drive rather than a dispatch.
Winter matters here. From November to April the downtown skywalk entrances, parking-ramp stairwells and lobby floors take a beating from salt and slush, and the Des Moines accounts are where our day porter and entry-matting programs earn their keep. The spring salt wash on sidewalks and parking decks goes on the calendar before it is needed.
